Tasmanian based Classic Foods Pty Ltd is Australia's leading co packer of Ultra Heat Treated (UHT) food and beverage products, including soups, desserts, and specialised liquid dairy products.
Its UHT processing facility is based at Edith Creek near Smithton in the far north west of the state. It uses around three per cent of Tasmania's total milk production but does not buy milk directly from dairy farm suppliers.
The Company specialises in working with food marketing and distribution companies to add value to their products.
